Adventure In Nature
A great way to take a break from the digital world, from the simple pleasure of sitting around a campfire to learning and playing in the great outdoors.
Bushcraft and Forest School activities combine outdoor education with practical wilderness skills to foster confidence, teamwork, and a deep connection with nature. Bushcraft emphasises living comfortably in the wild using natural resources—skills like fire lighting, shelter building, foraging, and tool use. Forest School, rooted in child-led learning, supports holistic development through regular woodland sessions that enhance social, emotional, and physical growth.

Tool Use
Fundamental for developing practical skills, fostering independence, and deepening connection with nature. It enables learners to engage in meaningful, hands-on activities such as carving, shelter building, fire-making, and foraging, which promote self-reliance and confidence.

Dens & Shelter
For children, den building is a rite of passage, unleashing their creative potential, allowing them to become architects of their own dreams by designing spaces for imaginative adventures.
For older children and adults the challenge comes from creating a structure that can provide protection from the environment.

Camp Cooking
Camp cooking offers a unique blend of adventure, connection, and satisfaction that elevates the outdoor experience. It transforms simple meals into memorable events

Primitive Archery
Making your own bow and arrows from natural materials is very rewarding. From the selection and harvesting of materials, to the process of crafting them into a working bow.

Arts & Craft
Forest school arts and crafts emphasise hands-on creativity using natural materials found in outdoor environments. A popular activity is creating nature mandalas, where children arrange leaves, stones, flowers, and twigs into circular patterns. This meditative process encourages mindfulness, observation of natural textures and colours, and an appreciation for symmetry and design. These mandalas can mark seasonal changes, such as using bright autumn leaves or spring blossoms
